On 2/26/10 at 10:58 hrs, the Tenafly FD was Dispatched to Tenafly Gourmet Farm's located at 15 Highwood Avenue for a building collapse with people trapped.  Car 511 arrived on scene first and established command.  Engine 1 arrived shortly after as TPD Officers were evacuating the store.  Car 510 arrived on scene next and assumed command.  510 had the crew from Engine 1 do a primary search of the building.  The Engine 1 crew did a search of as much of the building as possible but could not check the center aisles do to the collapse.  Tower 2 and Squad 2 arrived on scene and assisted in clearing the area, setting up a collapse zone perimeter and shutting off the utilities.  Tower 2 also provided aerial views of the building and surroundings so command could get a better understanding of the collapse.  The Bergen Regional Special Operations Team was requested which brought apparatus and team members from Bergenfield, Englewood, Fort Lee and Dumont.  New Jersey Task Force 1 Urban Search & Rescue also responded.  The teams used special camera's and equipment along with a K9 to search the building in its entirety.  No persons were found or were trapped. TFD was clear of the Scene by 17:00 hrs.
