On 2/25/10 at 14:24 hours TFD was dispatched to Highwood Avenue for a report of a DPW  Dump Truck with its brakes on fire.  Car 511 arrived on scene and reported smoke coming from the rear of truck and requested 1st due Engine 2 stretch a line to extinguish the fire.  The fire which was contained to the truck's breaks was quickly knocked down.   This run would be the first of many for TFD during a 24 hr storm that dumped 18 inches of snow on the Borough.  Units on scene were Car 510, Car 511, Engine 2 and Squad 2.
